Waiting Yes, I still think of you. Not every day; I don't make a concious point of it, but I'll be waiting for a missed bus, and suddenly the hopelessly romantic side of my brain kicks into gear, and you see me as you drive by, and pull over; "Need a lift?" you say with a charming, knowing smile. "Of course," I reply, and while I was going to be late, now I'll have just enough time to chat for a bit; allowing both of us to maybe feel like we want, or need, something from each other, but way too scared to really let that hope evolve into a full-fledged thought, so we just keep chatting, like two people who meet at the airport bar on a layover, and whiWaiting by ~lushbuckett

Public Transit I'm on the bus, and I'm going to the pubPublic Transit by ~lushbuckett
and it's a beautiful day outside
but I close my eyes, and it starts to rain
and I am no longer inside.

To me a drink send-er
I'ld even be happy
If from a big blender
Savour, the Flavour
And over the drink haver,
But don't get too sappy:
I'll have to come save her.
Friend or Girlfriend
All's same in the end
Two drinks too many
All together they blend.
Out, About, Round-about
Dizzying world; Sound-about
Never getting any
When nothing but drunken Lout.
Crawled, now Bed-sprawled
Poor fists were a-jawled
Feeling quite crappy
The bar, 'morrow, installed.
Tender Bartender
To me a drink send-er
I'ld even be happy
if from a big blender.
